Google files a patent for an anti-cancer bracelet

Google wants to establish itself in all areas, after glasses, drones and cars health seems to be a real objective for the American giant. He has just filed a patent on a smart health connected bracelet capable of modifying and even destroying cells harmful to the organism. Clearly, all diseases caused by cellular degeneration could be eradicated, cancers in mind.

The bracelet is quite wide and should cover a large part of the wrist. In addition to displaying the date and time, the bracelet would send ultrasound, X-rays or gamma rays which will take charge of cells harmful to our health. In this patent, we find a potential solution to Parkinson's disease explained in particular by bad proteins. Google would like to delay their evolution by marking them and then destroying them with the bracelet. No details, however, on how to eradicate cancer, but the principle should be similar.

If the death rate due to cancer has decreased by 25% in recent years, in France alone, 149,000 people die each year and 350,000 new cases are discovered. If this patent gives a lot of hope, it remains only a patent that is not yet ready to be marketed. Besides, nothing tells us that it will work. Still, with the human and financial resources available to Google, the American company can boost search. And this is a good thing.
