Google smart lenses are ready to go! You may not have to wait until 2019 to purchase them.

The Google smart lenses announced in 2014 by the Google X team are smart contact lenses capable of measuring glucose levels in people with diabetes. They use miniature electronics like miniature sensors or a radio antenna thinner than a human hair to Review your tears for glucose.

At the time, the Google X team also worked on incorporating tiny LED lights, among other things, to turn on to indicate low glucose levels; or a level that is too high.

Google had said it hoped to launch its smart lenses in five years, but a year and a half later, a patent application surfaced. This patent concerns the packaging of lenses. Google has also made requests to the Food and Drug Administration to have its lenses tested.

44 patents have been accepted and 53 others are pending; and in particular that on the packaging of the lens and another the size of the latter. So many tracks that make us say that the famous Google lens could already be ready!
