Gucci and will.i.am launches smartband

Gucci and will.i.am have announced the launch of a very fashionable and trendy smartband. This smart health connected bracelet was announced at BaselWorld 2015.

This smartband is intended for the luxury market. The Gucci smartband developed in collaboration with will.i.am is a standalone device that will only need a connection with a smartphone to operate. It will make and receive calls, texts, emails, store music, cards, calendars but also be able to track its activity.

This smart health connected bracelet is 3G compatible and should have voice control functionality. It will also be equipped with a camera allowing in particular to make ehealth calls. Sensors for sport and health monitoring are of course on board and in particular a heart rate monitoring, a temperature sensor and a GPS.

This smartband is a bit of the fashion version of the original Puls that will.i.am presented a few months ago.
