[ad_1]

We can never repeat it enough but the trend is that of smart health connected objects, including in sports. Whether it's tennis, football, basketball, running, nothing escapes it. We even discovered the first smart health connected socks!

It’s now the turn of cycling to benefit from this phenomenon.Helios has just presented the world's first smart health connected handlebars. Not only will you have a high-tech handlebar for racing bikes, but your safety will only be reinforced.

ABsmarthealth.net took a keen interest in this product and wanted to know more about the initiators of this project which was born thanks to Kickstarter. Wishing to have the feeling of the actors of the universe of smart health connected objects, we interviewed them.

Helios interview:

smart health smart health connected object: First of all, for those who do not know you, can you introduce yourself and your start-up?

Helios : We are Helio and our object is to revolutionize the perception of cycling.

OC: How did the idea of Helios Bars come about?

H : It all started with the idea of putting light on the bike, tired of having our bike lights stolen. Shortly after the project started, we realized that we could go much further. Instead of focusing only on the lamps, we focused on the bike as a whole.

OC: Can you tell us more about this project (how it works, some features, the price range, who is it for, etc.)?

H : The Helios Bars are equipped with a GPS tracker, Bluetooth connectivity and two LED lamps that work like the flashers of our cars. This allows you to connect your handlebars to the dedicated smartphone application and unlock fun features (change the color of the LEDs, even your speed on the handlebars etc.). Above all, we wanted to bring useful technology to the world of cycling in a hitherto unexplored way.

OC: Do you have competition in the market? Are there similar products and if so, are you not afraid of the competition?

H : We have the feeling that most of our competitors only focus on one aspect. Helios Bars remain the first product to integrate several characteristics into a multifunction smart health smart health connected object. For us, it's a bit of the Swiss army knife of the bicycle.

OC: Do you work on other objects? If so, can you share some exclusive information with us?

H : We hope to soon produce "premium" carbon fiber handlebars. More information to come.

OC: In your opinion, what will be the dominant sector in terms of smart health connected objects in the coming months (sports, health, health home automation)?

H : health home automation and the sports sector seem to be the fashion trends at the moment. It is impossible to know what will happen in the future, but we hope this trend continues.
