Hellocare offers teleconsultation service to doctors
Press release
Hellocare – teleconsultation platform bringing together healthcare professionals and patients – announces that its service will be free for the duration of the pandemic for all doctors who wish to integrate teleconsultation into their mode of care. With the flexibility of telemedicine by the government in this epidemic context, access to teleconsultation is simplified: all patients affected or potentially infected with the virus can benefit from this practice even if they do not have a treating doctor . Health professionals are following this trend: Hellocare has increased its number of doctors by 9 since the start of the pandemic.
Slow the spread and protect healthcare professionals
The startup wants to push its free teleconsultation service with healthcare professionals to reduce the risk of spreading the Coronavirus. The offer is non-binding, no download with rapid implementation and support for getting started. Note also that this is a compliant and secure platform, data protection is therefore ensured.
With this process, doctors can limit unnecessary travel and the risk of contamination of their waiting room; unclog the cabinet and emergency solutions; maintain the bond of trust by offering good care (information, prevention or redirection to an emergency service) and finally ensuring remote monitoring of sick patients.
In addition, doctors can – thanks to Hellocare – carry out regular teleconsultations to question the patient on the evolution of his symptoms, recover and aggregate data collected by smart health connected medical objects (oximeter, blood pressure monitoring, ECG, etc.)., and finally remote monitoring the fragile patients.
Support for general and specialist doctors
The decree of March 9 2020 facilitating the management of telemedicine procedures for people exposed to covid-19 makes it possible to remove the obstacles to teleconsultation that some doctors still encountered.
To facilitate implementation, Hellocare supports healthcare professionals in installing the solution, notably through ehealth tutorials and telephone calls.
" Since the start of the pandemic, we have seen an increasing number of doctors registering on the platform, it has multiplied by 9. We have all mobilized to train them so that they can use the service quickly and optimally . We also have people dedicated to support to ensure exemplary monitoring in this period of health crisis, " adds Mathilde Le Rouzic, COO of Hellocare.
All health professionals are concerned: both general practitioners and specialists such as psychiatrists and dieticians.
" Fragile and anxious patients no longer dare to leave their homes. In order not to lose the link, the teleconsultation then becomes suitable so that they can teleconsult psychiatrists for example. It is also the case for dieticians who are indirectly impacted by this pandemic, " ends Mathilde Le Rouzic.
