Here is a Misfit Flash dedicated to cyclists!

After launching its Shine No. 1 and No. 2 activity sensors for the general public, the American Misfit has released several versions for more specialized targets: we can mention the collaboration with Speedo for swimmers, or the Misfit Flash version for cyclists – just released.
After seducing swimmers, Misfit announces a version of its entry-level "Flash" activity sensor for a cycling audience. The small circular sensor will be placed directly on the athlete's shoe and measure in real time its performance: speed, distances traveled, calories burned are among the information recorded by this one.
An application dedicated to cycling performance
A dedicated mobile application, called Misfit Cycling, allows to see on the screen of a smartphone live the data measured by the Flash sensor. Misfit invites users to place their phone directly on the bicycle handlebars to use as a dashboard. Thanks to the GPS signal of the smartphone, he can also find his way on the mobile app.

Obviously, the sensor is not only for cyclists it can also be used as a traditional activity sensor and measure sleep, walking distances or calories burned throughout the day. The information can be shared on alternative fitness apps like Strava, MapMyRide, Cyclemeter or iBiker.
