The Hobonichi Techo smart health connected paper agenda is just perfect: perfect size, enough space to write, beautiful minimalist design, etc. I am totally a fan of this brand! But then how can a paper agenda synchronize with Google Calendar and iCal?

In fact, everything works thanks to the Livescribe pen and a special paper. This latest product from Moleskine's Smart Writing Set range is the first to have these features. Previous products synchronized your notes and your calendar a little more manually. You had to use your smartphone or a Neo pen. There, the stylus and paper are necessary for this system to work.

Like other Livescribe systems, the Smart Planner uses paper with built-in sensors that can read and synchronize something written by the Moleskine Pen +. Your notes, your appointments will even be organized judiciously in the applications.

The system will be available worldwide from September 12, but at a much higher price than the existing versions. The set will cost $ 199.

To date, there are a few similar products on the market; including a range of Livescribe products. But the offer is not very large. Even more rare are systems offering direct calendar synchronization. This is really the strong point of this product. For people who, like me, like their little diaries and Moleskine notebooks, who like to take notes in their little notebooks, this solution is just ideal and offers a good compromise between classic note taking and new technologies.

Personally, I use my paper notebooks and diaries as much as my smartphone applications. Merging the two will really make my life easier and save me from having to write or enter the same information twice.
