Honor Band Zero – A minimalist smartwatch from Huawei

Honor Band Zero, Huawei's next smartwatch is revealed a little more and seems to be a minimalist smart health connected watch!

Honor Band Zero was revealed a little more in a tweet from the Chinese brand. This tweet with photo said, "# Honor's smart wearable device that embodies a minamalistic design, that’s #HonorBandZero. #HuaweiFacts »

In the photos we can see a round screen off; which doesn’t tell us whether Huawei’s next smartwatch will run Android or a health home operating system like the B2 Talkband. The Zero watch will be the first wearable to come out of Huawei Honor's sub-brand; a brand that will be sold mainly on the internet to minimize distribution costs.

Huawei describes Zero Band as a "smart wearable device", so it may well be more fitness oriented and tickle the Jawbone, Misfit and Fitbit in their market rather than Apple or LG watches.

Other than that, the brand did not give more information on the product but it is a safe bet that we will know more at the IFA 2015 in Berlin in September.
