How to do a Google search from an image?

We do not necessarily know, but Google has a tool through which we can search from an image found on the Internet. A very practical option that allows you to identify places, objects or people with a single click.

It surely happened to you, depending on your travels on the Web, to come across a photo of a character, a place, an object about which you would have liked to know more. The search engine Google can give you an answer if you right click on the image. This function is available by default with the Navigator Chrome and Firefox, provided you install an extension Google Search by Image.

To make a Google search from an image with a right click:

  1. In your browser Internet, place the cursor on the image about which you wish to obtain information then right click.

  2. In the context menu, select the option Search for an image with Google. A results page will open with the dimensions of the source image in mind and, where possible, the identification of what it contains. Google also offers a selection of similar images as well as a list of websites containing identical images.

  3. Note that the option also works from version Android and iOS browser Chromium by performing a pressure extended on the desired image then by selecting the Search image on Google option.

To search from Google Images:

  1. Another option is to search directly from the Google images page. Click on theicon representing a camera located in the input field.

  2. Several possibilities are then available to you: copy and paste the url of the image for which you want to search, drag an image from your file explorer computer or select a file on your Hard disk.
