    1.   Reply   DIY projects  June 26, 2017 at 9 h 58 min   Hello Migui. You are absolutely right. You can use the health home Assistant broker interface. I preferred to use an external broker for 2 reasons. From a didactic point of view, it's easier for me to always use mosquitto to show how the system works. Then, (unless I am mistaken, or until a next development) the HASS broker does not integrate the encryption of MQTT messages. As I prepare an article on the subject, it seemed better to me.
