Huawei unveils two new smartwatches for women

Huawei has unveiled two new smartwatches for women at CES 2016 in Las Vegas. And yes, the Chinese manufacturer (and others besides) seem to begin to realize that, yes, women could want to wear smart health connected watches.

Huawei has therefore imagined elegant Android smartwatches, a little (too) flashy and closer to the world of jewelry than to watchmaking. By the way, here's their name: Huawei Watch Jewel and Watch Elegant… and yes, these are their real names. I'm not sure what Huawei was thinking… a real cliché!

Personally, I hate the aesthetics of these watches. I find them flashy and low-end. I’m not a woman but I think many of them will agree with me. They give the impression of being in front of low-end watches; even if the materials used are obviously of good quality. Indeed, despite this, Huawei offers steel finishes but pink-gold color or even Swarovski crystals. Apart from the aspect, let's talk about the features.

In fact, on this side, not much new. They are identical to those of other Huawei watches. In short, for this CES 2016, Huawei offers us camouflage … at best dressing. The launch dates vary according to the market, but you will be able to get these models from March in the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Norway, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
