iBoardbot – A smart health connected whiteboard

iBoardbot is a smart health connected whiteboard controlled by a robot that is able to write text, draw and erase it quickly and efficiently.

iBoardbot is a multi-user interface that can be used at health home with children or in the office with employees. It is capable of reproducing what you draw even if you are not in the same room. Thanks to a web application, you will be able to draw, write a text of your choice on the board wherever you are in the world.

iBoardbot was imagined and designed by DIY JJRobots. Original fact: all JJRobots DIY robot projects must be assembled using the same components they have used before for other projects. But then how does it work? Thanks to the web application, which allows it not to depend on a particular Os x or y, you send a drawing or a text to the cloud. As the robot is able to connect to the internet, it is therefore able to retrieve information from the cloud and transcribe it onto the glass surface of the board.

The open API of this robot will allow developers to add various features. It will for example be used to display tweets, display quotes, show weather forecasts, create IFTTT recipes, follow reviews on the internet, etc. In short, the features and possibilities are very numerous.

Several modes are currently offered. Text Mode will allow you to send messages. The size of the text will be adjusted to fit on the table. Write and click on send. It couldn't be simpler. The Drawing Mode allows you to draw whatever you want. Several users can work collaboratively on the same drawing. Finally, the Graphics Mode gives access to an online gallery where you can choose already downloaded images or upload your own images.
