At the 2016 IFA exhibition in Berlin, Dutch TomTom is once again trying to thrive in the market for smart health connected objects with new accessories: the Curfer, dedicated to cars, and different wearables equipped with its GPS technology.

Coming to connect to the port OBD of the car, the tool will be responsible for recording many statistics during the trips: braking efficiency, theacceleration, the quality of driving, the power in turns… The gadget also records the data provided directly by the car regarding thegasoline, the drums where the engine.

The sensor works with its application companion that allows the driver to view live data harvested but also to be alert in case of problem detected on the vehicle by the Curfer. We can also find his car (practice in very large car parks!) by consulting its geographical position directly through the connection of the device.

The new smart health connected bracelet from TomTom has a rather innovative feature on the market: it is indeed able to detail the composition of the body of his user. This will allow him to know his fat and muscle masswhile having a clear idea of results provided by his efforts during sports sessions.

A button physics allows you to display all this information instantly, while a dedicated sensor to measure the cardiac frequency is also included in the device. The tool is expected at the price of 149.99 €.

TomTom Spark 3

Just like the previous models, the Spark 3 is a smart health connected watch with a screen displaying essential information about its carrier. It also incorporates a heart rate monitoring and a music player to enjoy during sports sessions. In fact, the memory of the device reaches the 3 GB and thus allows to store several hundred pieces directly on his wrist.

In addition, a vocal coach is present within the software and provides live advice athletes, like what Vi or STEPP offer. It is for the same reason that wireless headphones (Bluetooth) are provided with the gadget, which already supports many practices: cycling, swimming, race, bodybuilding…
