iFreezer Go20 – A smart health connected portable fridge

As you will have understood, Iceco iFreezer Go20 is intended for all lovers of camping and large spaces who wish to leave for several days independently. Very practical, iFreezer Go20 keeps your food fresh and your drinks cold without the need for ice.

Iceco is not at its first attempt. The company has worked for several decades in the automotive refrigeration solutions segment for major brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac and Volvo.

With the iFreezer Go20, Iceco dissociates the refrigerator from the vehicle by offering an elegant and streamlined portable fridge / freezer with a two-zone adjustment system. It plugs into the vehicle's 12V outlet and hums quietly; keeping food and drinks cold (or frozen). Divided by a central divider, each zone can be adjusted between -18 and 10 ° C. The whole is quickly and easily adjusted via the touch screen located next to the cover or remotely via the smartphone app. Iceco indicates that the "max" mode will lower the fridge temperature to a freezing point in less than 15 minutes.

The separator can also be removed, allowing you to use the full 20 liters as a single refrigerated compartment. Iceco estimates that the polypropylene chest is large enough to hold nine bottles of wine or twenty 33-cl beer cans.

The iFreezer Go20 is not powerful enough to be the primary cooling solution for a long overland expedition. But it's an elegant and versatile cooling option. Its compact size of 57 x 32 x 31 cm makes it ideal for VUVs and smaller mini-motorhomes. On long trips, it can be used as an additional cooler, allowing you to separate drinks from the cooler, for example. Iceco markets it as a cleaner, cooler and simpler alternative, which does not require any purchase or maintenance.

Iceco plans to eventually sell the iFreezer Go20 at a retail price of $ 799. Currently on pre-order on Indiegogo, you can get it for 399 euros.
