Use & Getting started

Download the application

In order to operate the iHealth Core HS6 smart health connected scale, you must first download the iHealth MyVitals app from the App Store or Google Play depending on the model of your smartphone or tablet. You will find on our applications page all the necessary links.

Once the application is installed, you must then create an account to be able to use it. iHealth MyVitals gives you 24/7 access to your history and easy-to-read graphs to get to know your body better. The app supports blood pressure monitors, scales, pulse oximeters and iHealth smart health connected activity and sleep bracelets.

Taking measurements

Just step on the scale pan to turn it on and start the measurement.

The weight is displayed then the percentage of fat mass. The other data can only be viewed on the application.

You must start the iHealth MyVitals application, then select the Core HS6 scale from the list for the first connection. This will ask you for the code of your health home Wi-Fi network in order to connect to it. The connection will then be made automatically at the end of the measurements.

IHealth MyVitals app

The iHealth MyVitals app is fairly standard in its use. It allows you to follow the evolution of your weight over a given period. You can also export your data by email (text, image or csv format) or by social networks.

It is also possible to manually enter the data and have a summary of all its data in tabular form (also including blood pressure, activity and sleep and the pulse oximeter measurements).

Results

The strong points

  • Luminous figures

  • Ease of use

  • Sleek design

The weak spots

  • Only works on hard ground.

  • Does not work without initial configuration by Wifi with the application.

Pharmacist's opinion

The smart health connected bathroom scale is a good balance allowing monitoring of its weight and fat mass parameters.

Its first use is necessarily linked to the connection to a smartphone or a tablet, which is limiting.
