IHealth Track KN-550BT smart health connected blood pressure monitoring Review
iHealth launched on the market a cheap smart health connected self-blood pressure monitoring accessible to all budgets: the iHealth Track model. Sold below 40 €, it is positioned at the entry level to compete with other non-smart health connected blood pressure monitors, and to introduce the smart health connected health market to the general public. We finally tested it!
Presentation
Presented in a cardboard box, the product comes with its cuff, a user manual and 4 AAA batteries.
The cuff is made of plastic which is less pleasant to the touch than the brand's high-end arm blood pressure monitoring, the BP5, but at this price, that's normal!
The plastic case still gives an impression of solidity and is not cheap. It is even equipped with non-slip pads for better stability.
Two buttons, and a screen for the data: the use is simplified.
Use & Getting started
Download the application
The iHealth Track KN-550BT blood pressure monitoring works independently, but you can then send the recorded measurements to your smartphone. You must first download the iHealth My Vitals app from the App Store or Google Play depending on the model of your smartphone. You will find on our applications page all the necessary links.
Once the application is installed, you must create an account to use it. It makes it possible to connect all the devices of the iHealth brand, and thus to be able in addition to its tension to manage its weight, its activity and its sleep.
Taking measurements
Then simply place the cuff around the arm and press the on / off button. The cuff inflates quickly and the measurement starts.
Once finished, the results are displayed on the blood pressure monitoring with a color code according to the voltage, according to the WHO classification.
You need to activate the Bluetooth connection on your phone, start the application and choose your device for the first connection.
A simple press on the M button on the blood pressure monitoring and the data are then downloaded into the application.
My Vitals app
The My Vitals app is fairly easy to use. It allows you to follow the evolution of blood pressure over a given period, as well as the export of data by email in several formats (CSV, Excel, Pdf), which can then be useful for your doctor. You can also share your data on social networks.
It is also possible to manually enter the data and have a summary of all its data in tabular form (also including weight, sleep, measurements of the pulse oximeter …).
