You must first buy the Ikea TRADFRI box for around 30 euros, serving as a bridge between your internet box and your Ikea smart health connected objects.
Good news for voice control enthusiasts, SmartShades are compatible with Google health home, Amazon Echo and HomePod. Of course, it is possible to configure scenarios. This function is very useful in summer to cool an apartment or a house, for example.
Ikea SmartShades: price and release date
Ikea SmartShades smart health connected blinds are already available on the official website of the Swedish giant. In France, deliveries will begin on February 2, 2019. Some stores already have models in stock.
Two versions are available (FYRTUR and KADRILJ), and prices vary between 119 and 159 euros. The difference between the two models is simple: one is more opaque than the other. The two blinds are available in five different sizes corresponding to the most common window standards. With these blinds, Ikea confirms its desire to make the health home affordable. The Swedish giant is multiplying initiatives in this direction. Latest, a partnership with Xiaomi to develop the smart health connected health home at low prices.
