IKEA's future kitchen will tell you how to cook

For IKEA, your future kitchen should not simply be equipped with the latest fashionable object, it should be a real technological center in the health home.

IKEA presented kitchen concepts during the last design week in Milan that could revolutionize the way we cook in ten years; in 2025. Called Ikea Temporary, this set of prototypes is the fruit of collaboration between the brand, IDEO, the students of the School of Industrial Design at Ingvar Kamprad Design Center at Lund University.

Another prototype was presented: a table. The Table For Living is reminiscent of the projector that Sony unveiled at the last CES 2015. A projector equipped with a camera projects the recipes on the table and recognizes the ingredients that you have on the table in order to offer you recipes. The table will also weigh your food and tell you how to cut it. Equipped with induction coils, this table will also allow you to cook your preparations.

None of these prototypes are available for sale. Ikea just wants to show us how technology will transform cooking, our cooking, in a decade. Hopefully some ideas will see the light of day. Look :
