Isaac Mizrahi x HP – No more smartwatch screen dilemma
Isaac Mizrahi and HP made an announcement that went unnoticed in the midst of the very numerous product launches that took place during the last MWC 2016 in Barcelona.
Isaac Mizrahi and HP have teamed up to create an analog smartwatch for women. Indeed, HP does not create its own smartwatches. Instead, the brand has chosen to work with watchmakers and fashion designers. The Isaac Mizrahi watch is the first of the partnerships set up by the high-tech giant.
Priced at $ 249, this analog watch dressed in Swarovski crystals was therefore created by designer from Broooklyn. This watch obviously gives you the time and is able to receive notifications from your iOs or Android smartphone. A little bling-bling this smart health connected watch is not less interesting. Indeed, here no OLED screen integrated under the glass of the watch. The watch screen is super discreet and is located behind the hands and is completely integrated into the bottom of the dial.
So, it really feels like having a classic watch above all. The design remains intact and is not changed by the small dose of technology that has been added. Working with a smartphone application, the smartwatch imagined by Isaac Mizrahi will vibrate and therefore display notifications as discreetly as possible.
If this watch is a little bling-bling, it nevertheless offers a new option for displaying notifications. An option that we hope to find on other smartwatches in the future.
