it finally arrives in November!

The Asus ZenWatch 3 smartwatch will be available next November. Announced at the IFA 2016 trade fair in Berlin, this new installment of the Asus brand will break with its (square) roots since it will be round.

The Asus ZenWatch 3 will cost $ 229. This time, the brand paid close attention to the design of its watch and decided to adopt a look closer to that of competing watches; like those of Motorola, LG or Huawei.

The watch is now round and the finish is in stainless steel. The straps of the watch have also been improved since they are now available in Italian leather or high quality rubber in brown or dark beige tones. With less than 10 mm thick this Asus smart health connected watch is available in several colors; including rose gold, bronze and silver. These finishes are clearly inspired by the colors offered by Apple. As for the screen, it measures 1.39 inches. It is therefore slightly smaller than the screen of the Huawei watch. The 400 x 400 resolution on the AMOLED screen should offer much better quality than on the previous watch.

On the software side, it works on Android Wear. It is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor 512 MB of RAM. The watch also has 4 GB of onboard storage. Asus has included six different watch themes and 50 exclusive watch faces that support customizable widgets. The FaceDesigner application will also allow you to create your own themes.

Asus says it is the first Android Wear watch to include three physical buttons; even if the Casio WSD-F10 Smartwatch Outdoor already has these three physical buttons. It will allow you to have more control and create a more traditional atmosphere when you are interacting with the smartwatch. The top button, for example, can now be used to quickly jump to one of your favorite apps.
