Jawbone opens up to group challenges

[ad_1]

Until now, Jawbone had not really developed a strategy to federate the community around its smart health connected bracelets. At best, it was possible to share its performance with other users of the UP system (who are also invited to share their ID on our forum), thus making it possible to compare physical activity and sleep. Today, Jawbone introduces UP for Groups, a program that aims to create a real fitness community.

10 people minimum per challenge

Many companies have adopted Jawbone bracelets to develop their community, such as Buffer, which has equipped all of its employees with a device to connect geographically distant people. It is to reinforce this type of initiatives that UP for Groups was born: For all groups of 10 or more people, it will be possible to create common goals to motivate users to do more sport. An administrator will be able to manage and motivate his troops, while guaranteeing the anonymity of each user's data (to be defined by all). For now, the Jawbone UP, UP24 and UP Move will be compatible – pending the release of the Jawbone UP3 which should arrive in the coming weeks.

Jawbone arrived at this idea by noting that the owners of bracelets who are smart health connected with many people on Jawbone were 10% more active than users without connection. And you, do you think this argument is valid?
