Jawbone will announce today the release of its new application called UP Coffee. It will help you monitoring your coffee consumption and know the impacts.

The idea for such an application came about when Jawbone did a study of the 1600 Jawbone UP data. People who sleep more than seven hours feel "more optimistic, patient, focused, productive and attractive."

The application, available on iOS, will allow you to track your caffeine intake and does not necessarily require having a Jawbone UP bracelet or UP24. It will simply tell you if you are drinking too much coffee, Red Bull or other caffeinated drinks. On the other hand, bracelet wearers will be entitled to more statistics, the data being able to be crossed.

The bracelet allows you to monitoring sleep and the UP Coffee application on your caffeine consumption. After 10 days of use, you can know the impact of 100mg of caffeine on the night to come, and adapt your consumption accordingly.

It certainly won't change habits, but Jawbone has the merit of offering this app for free. We will offer you a Review as soon as it is released.

March 6 update: The application is now available on theAppStore.
