KAPELSE unveils its solutions dedicated to e-health

KAPELSE has just unveiled a new range of terminals designed to read smart cards for professionals in the medical world.

KAPELSE is a company that creates innovative e-Health solutions by providing a simple and secure way to follow its patients at their place of residence.

The main objective of this design study was to design three e-health solutions, around the Carte Vitale, for professionals in the medical world. The design team worked on the one hand on the identity range, for a coherent design between the different solutions, and on the other hand on the design of each of the solutions produced within the constraints of use (fixed solution, mobile solution, shelf solution).

As you all know, the vital card is used by doctors to prescribe medication. Also, it keeps track of all patient medical records. Pharmacists also use it to check prescriptions.

Sequoia Studio explains that the medical world is relatively sober in terms of research in design. Products are generally complex, hence the tendency to offer simpler designs; even minimalist. Simple designs that highlight the function of the product, rather than its technology. There is a play of color contrasts and lines of force, to formally structure the product. Personally, I'm quite a fan of the imagined design.

The style of the K line will be between the Medical Universe board (very codified and simplified in terms of colors and shapes) and the Inspiration board (tight curves, suggestion of technology, tactile pleasure). There are simple lines and a color scheme to connect the K line to the medical world, to the softness and sensuality of current technological products.

For the moment, it is only a concept. Hopefully these three products will see the light of day.
