Kasita – A small, fully smart health connected house

Kasita is a small house which is delivered to you fully smart health connected. Besides this aspect, she wants to establish herself as an alternative to renting apartments in as many large cities as possible.

Kasita was imagined by an Austin-based company. Later this year, the first 25 square meter homes will be sent and delivered to their happy buyers. They will be equipped with a Nest Thermostat, Amazon Echo, Queen size Casper mattress, View Dynamic glass and Hue lighting.

The house will also be equipped with more standard equipment such as a dishwasher, an induction hob and a convection oven. The company also works on interchangeable wall panels to be able to install shelves, bike racks or cupboards without drilling a single hole.

The company has not yet revealed the price of its smarthome but Jeff Wilson explains that it will be cheaper than if you were to rent a studio in cities like New York and San Francisco. It may even be possible to rent a Kasita a little later instead of buying one.

Another detail about this house: it will also be mobile with a unique mooring system that will allow you to move them from anywhere. In the event of a professional transfer, you can move your house and settle in your new adopted city.
