Kuvée – A smart health connected bottle for wine

Kuvée is a smart health connected bottle for wine. I’m telling you right now, it’s probably one of the worst smart health connected devices I’ve seen since I started The health home Automation Blog!

Kuvée is therefore a bottle of wine smart health connected via Wi-Fi equipped with a touch screen and which is compatible with wine refills. The promise: keep the wine fresh and edible for up to 30 days. On the screen, you will be able to see the wine's ethics, the grape variety used, the alcohol content, etc. This product was designed by a young Boston start-up who is no doubt hoping to replicate the Nespresso marketing model.

In short, in fact, this bottle does nothing special! It doesn't even offer a vacuum sealing system! As for refills, the bottles are made with a metal called Tekeian and which would be impermeable to oxygen… we don't really know what it is for since they also have a hole in the bottom for let the air in…

Another thing that is useless: the promise to keep the wine for 30 days! When I open a bottle, I don't keep it for 30 days! Frankly, I find this product very poor! I really wonder why these people, who obviously don't know anything about it, decided to create this product. It is well worth calling in expert tasters or chemically measuring how the wine evolves for 30 days if no one takes 30 days to drink 75 cl of wine!

In short, I'm going to stop presenting this product… shit! If you want to make up your own mind, take a look on IndieGogo. Be aware that this stew is available for pre-order for 180 dollars and that the refills cost between 15 dollars and 50 dollars. To flee !
