The URPS liberal doctors Ile-com-France, Bpifrance and Medicen Paris Region are joining forces to accelerate innovation in e-health by creating the Club of beta-Review doctors.

Doctors are among the first users of health innovations, however, the tools that come on the market do not necessarily correspond to their daily practice of medicine and their expectations.

This is why, in partnership with Bpifrance, via the Patient Autonomous fund, the Ile-com-France Medicen health competitiveness cluster and the Ile-com-France liberal physicians URPS, through its “Liberal Practices and new technologies ", sets up The Beta Testers Doctors Club.

The objective is to place liberal physicians at the heart of the innovation process of their future working tools: by testing innovative products arriving on the e-health market, they will help to ensure their relevance for practice.

Using this Club of beta testers represents several advantages:

  • A unique opportunity to have your tool tested by doctors

  • Benefit from feedback from future customers

  • Adapt its tool to the needs of its customers

  • Make your P.O.C

This new project is part of the Lab'URPS program launched in 2017. Faced with the explosion of smartphone applications and other smart health connected objects related to health, intended for doctors and the general public, the URPS New Technologies Commission independent doctors Ile-com-France has created this place of exchange between independent doctors and innovative e-health companies.

A call for candidates

This initiative currently offers a call for applications from e-health start-ups around three themes:

  • Artificial intelligence (diagnostic aid, decision-making aid, etc.)

  • The link between doctor and doctor and between doctor and patient (therapeutic education, post-operative monitoring, etc.)

  • smart health connected objects within the firm (remote surveillance, objects smart health connected to business software, etc.)

Liberal medical volunteers will then Review the solutions chosen for three months and make regular returns in order to optimize them and ensure product / use relevance.

The projects submitted must meet certain conditions:

  • Have a product that fits into one of the categories listed

  • Have a finished product that can be tested by doctors

  • Be respectful of the GDPR
