To meet the needs of e-health start-ups and contribute to the digital transformation of the pharmaceutical industry, the first Pharmatech accelerator was launched: the Digital Pharma Lab. Discovery.

The Digital Pharma Lab, the first independent European accelerator of Pharmatech projects, aims to provoke the meeting between startups and health industries in order to accelerate the integration of innovations of these young companies in the trades and business models of pharmaceutical laboratories, biotechnology and medical device manufacturers.

Digital Pharma Lab is also working alongside Pharmatech startups to enable them to consolidate their development opportunities by attracting the attention of public and private investors.

With the support of Bpifrance, the Digital Pharma Lab was officially launched on December 9, 2019. Seven healthcare manufacturers and nine Pharmatech startups are joining the first season of this half-day acceleration program, which opens the same day exchange around the theme of the “Pharmatech Revolution”, followed by startups pitchs and speed-dating between startups and manufacturers.

Biogen, Ipsen, Servier, Otsuka, Sanofi, Takeda and Chugai thus join the program as industrial partners of the first season and will each collaborate with one or more selected startups: Apodis Pharma, Diam Park, Epigene Labs, Inato, Invenis, Lucine , My Brain, My Science Work and Yuni.

This first season opens with a period of 4 to 6 months of project support by Digital Pharma Lab designed to allow pharmaceutical laboratories, biotechnology companies and manufacturers of participating medical devices to accelerate or even integrate into their models innovations brought by selected Pharmatech startups.
