This question has gone around all kitchens. To calm our concerns, and answer our questions, the American start-up ARS LAB created PERES, a smart health smart health connected object that allows you to control the quality and freshness of our food.

smart health connected to your smartphone via the Bluetooth network, LE PERES presents itself as a one button remote control (easy to use for young and old).

Just point the device at the food and press the button. Instantly, the application that runs on Android and iOS, analyzes the data and the result, crisp and clear, is displayed on thescreen of your smartphone.

LE PERES is equipped with four sensors. The first measures the humidity level, the second the ambient temperature, the third the ammonia level. Finally, a sensor detects the volatile organic compounds around the food, released by the meats in decomposition. It's not very appetizing but PERES is there to guide us. It is specially designed and especially recommended today for control meats (pork, beef, chicken) and fish. Soon, it will extend its measures to fruits and vegetables, carriers of potentially dangerous bacteria.

Praised by doctors, LE PERES is to be used without restraint in its cooked and at supermarket while shopping. Soon available to the general public at a price of $ 150 (just over € 100). No doubt it will find its place on your work plan.
