Lemon chicken food

Ingredients lemon chicken food/ for 2 persons

1egg white

2teaspoons cornstarch

1pinch salt

2chicken breast without skin, cut into large strips in the direction of thefibers.

30ounces of peanut oil

1green pepper, cut into strips or

1/2bunch of spring onions, cut into strips

1clove garlic, crushed

lemonslices

Forthe sauce:

2teaspoons cornstarch

About2 tablespoons of water

Zestof 1/2 lemon, finely grated

2tablespoons lemon juice

1tablespoon soy sauce

2teaspoons rice wine or dry sherry

2teaspoons sugar

PREPARATION lemon chicken food

1Prepare the sauce: Mix cornstarch with water in a bowl to make a smooth paste.Add remaining ingredients in the dough. Book.

2Beat the egg white lightly with cornstarch and salt in a dish. Add chickenstrips, stir to coat. Book.

3Heat oil in a wok without letting smoke. Dip chicken strips in hot oil one at atime, using a fork. Fry in batches 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove with aslotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

4Videroil from the wok, by leaving the value of 1 tablespoon. Add the pepper andspring onions and garlic and saute over medium heat 30 seconds. Stir the sauce,pour it into the wok and mix well. Increase heat and bring to a boil, stirringconstantly.

Fry the chicken strips in the wok 1 to 2 minutes, until well coated with sauce.Decorate with lemon slices on a plate. Or simply in a bowl. Serve immediately.

6ea Crushed garlic cloves

1c Warm water

4c Unbleached white flour

1ts Salt

3tb Wheatgerm

2tb Vegetable oil

CrustyGarlic Bread Preparation

Dissolvethe yeast in the water in a bowl. Add salt, oil & garlic. Stir in 3 c flour& wheatgerm. Mix with a fork. Sprinkle 1/4 c flour on a board & turnout the dough, coating it with the flour. Then knead, adding another 1/4 cflour gradually. Knead for a couple of minutes. Let rise till it has doubled insize. Punch down & let it rest for a while. Roll the dough into a 13 inchlength. Set the bread on an oiled sheet. Let proof for 20 minutes. Preheat ovento 375F & bake for 45 to 55 minutes.

Ingredients for Apple Cinnamon Quiche Recipe

1 Apple; tart, shredded

2 tb Butter

7 oz Cheddar cheese; shredded,

-(aged Vermont)

1 10 inch pie crust; homemade

1 tb Sugar

1/4 ts Cinnamon

3 lg Eggs

1-1/2 c Whipping cream

Apple Cinnamon Quiche Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Saute the apple for 5 minutes in the butter. Combine with the cheese and place in the pie shell. Combine the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the apple and cheese. In a bowl lightly whisk together the eggs and whipping cream, and pour over the apple and cheese. Bake for 35 minutes or until set.
