LG wants its hub to control your smarthome

With SmartThinQ, LG clearly aims to become the heart of your smarthome. But then, does LG's health home automation hub with the false air of Amazon Echo afford its ambitions? Is it really able to find a place in this market?

SmartThinQ is therefore a hub, a smart health connected health home automation platform. Existing for a few years already, he never managed to find his audience. Besides, we never heard too much about it either … But that could be changing. Indeed, last week, LG presented a new version of its health home automation hub. A new version which is currently visible at CES 2016 in Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, LG has not scheduled any demonstration of its SmartThinQ during the show. However, the brand explains that its SmartThinQ Hub can be paired with devices, a music stream and display information such as calendar events, reminders and time. It is able to display this through a built-in 3.5 inch LCD screen.

As with most of the new products that LG is showing at CES, no information has been given regarding its price. Hopefully the brand will correct the tire in the weeks or months to come.
