LG's Urbane LTE Watch

The Urbane LTE Watch is an upgraded version of LG's luxury Watch Urbane smartwatch. This steroid version focuses, as you will have understood, on 4G mobile data.

The Urbane LTE Watch is a bit of a high-end version of LG's high-end model. It allows you to share your GPS position, translate other languages, make voice chats like a walkie talkie or make calls. LG also upgraded the battery from 410mAh to 700mAh.

Besides the addition of GPS, this smart health connected watch is also one of the first smartwatches to offer NFC mobile payments functionality; in addition to the Apple brand Apple Watch which will also offer contactless payment. You will be able to tap on your wrist to pay instead of having to look for your phone in your pocket.

You may have noticed the three buttons on the watch; there is only one on the first version of the Urbane. According to LG, they would be used for navigation and quick settings of the watch. For the moment, no release date but it's a safe bet that we will know during the Mobile World Congress which will start next month.
