Liberal doctors' unions create an association to act on their "digital transformation"

[ad_1]

The association brings together representatives of the Confederation of French Medical Unions (CSMF), the Federation of French Doctors (FMF), the Union of Liberal Doctors (SML), the Bloc, the general practitioners' union MG France, Young Doctors and the National Union of Young General Practitioners (SNJMG).

The organization aims to be "the privileged intermediary between doctors and e-health actors, to help the emergence and deployment of solutions that will allow the profession to meet the health needs of the population".

It wishes to "orient e-health towards a desirable future that respects all interests", it is specified.

Dr. David Azérad, general practitioner in Paris, is the president of this new structure.

"The digital transformation into e-health is a great opportunity to improve access and quality of care," he said. "To avoid a dehumanization of care, it is urgent to take ownership of today's initiatives to better control our future."

Doctors are invited to "express their expectations and concerns about e-health, as well as give their opinion on the digital tools they use on a daily basis" on the association website.

She hopes "a strong mobilization" to be heard by software publishers and "to be involved in the design and evolution of new digital tools".

In addition, "100,000 medics.org" announced its desire to create in 2020 "the first rating agency in e-health".

Its objectives are "to help the profession make the right digital choices, promote solutions considered well-designed, respectful of good practices and sustainable, and guide software publishers towards the objectives that doctors wish to expect".

The agency will offer "an overall rating reflecting expert opinions" on digital tools.

Doctors will be able to "learn about the digital tools of today and tomorrow", "note the different facets of the tools and share their experiences with their colleagues".
