Logitech's smart health connected remote control

Harmony is a smart health connected remote control from the Logitech brand. His ambition? Connect the living room to the rest of the house.

With Harmony, Logitech now wants to work on an API allowing developers to link all the smart health connected devices in your house so that they work together. Since the Smart health home is no longer a concept but a reality, this smart health connected remote control may well become essential.

For example, if you have an Android TV and Hue bulbs, you could adjust the brightness when watching a movie. Logitech’s Harmony division says its programming tool could allow developers to access more than 270,000 smart health connected objects. This is huge because it is true that today, and I see it on a daily basis, the multitude of objects and brands can be an obstacle to their use; not all of them can really interact with each other and each (or most) requiring access to their application at one time or another.

Harmony's API would therefore solve these problems. Logitech is working with IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings to achieve this. By the way, a project on Kickstarter makes us a little the same promise. I will tell you about NEEO in a future article.
