L'Oréal launches the smart health connected UV Patch which will take care of you

The French company, recognized worldwide for its cosmetics, has been launching in parallel for several years in technological innovations. The novelty was announced at CES in Las Vegas, it is a " skin patch ".

The latter is applied to the skin and changes colors when in contact with UV rays.

The application, iOS or Android, allows you to know the level of skin exposure to the sun over time. By taking a picture of it, the application is able to tell you, depending on its color, if the sun's radiation has damaged your skin, or if it accelerates its aging. So it will let you know when your skin is most at risk of getting skin cancer, or getting a bad sunburn.

If this patch will be very useful for those who bask in the two summer months in the sun, it will be all the more so for all people who are exposed in short but repeated ways, in order to know if the skin is damaged or not.

It will be marketed during 2016 and under the La-Roche-Posay (L’Oréal) brand, but its price has not yet been set.
