Malta Informatique Acquires Care Solutions Software Publishing Activities

The takeover "concerns teams, brands and equipment contracts in Care Solutions software", which equip "more than 360 nursing homes out of the 1,540 establishments in the country," it said.

Nursing homes are the Belgian equivalents of accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people (Ehpad), we are told.

This acquisition "materializes the development of its activity in Europe", commented Malta Informatique.

The latter was bought by the company specializing in pharmacy computer science Pharmagest in 2009, we recall.

The two companies also announced the deployment of Malta IT's Titan software in "all Coliseum establishments in Europe".

Colosseum co-developed its MedbyColisée telemedicine tool with Malta Informatique, we recall.
