First, before I start the Review, I'll explain what it is and what the Master Lock smart key safe is for. If you don't want to give your housekeeper a duplicate of your keys, this small smart health connected safe can be very practical. Likewise if you don't have a lot of duplicate keys available and you can't have them redone.

To install it, simply attach it to a wall near your door, on the landing, and then place the keys or access cards you want to share. Opening by code or by clicking through the dedicated app, you can see who opened it and when. All you have to do is save contacts and assign them a personal code. It is also possible to unlock it using the application.

The first thing that surprises you when you grab the product is its weight. Quite heavy, this feeling reinforces the impression of robustness that one has at first glance. Very well made, drilling it doesn't have to be that simple; but I didn't go that far in the Review. According to the manufacturer, it is also able to withstand temperatures ranging from +45 degrees to -40 degrees.

Screwed on its packaging, you must open it to unscrew it to separate it from its packaging. Once your safe is smart health connected in hand, do not throw away the packaging right away! Turn it over and cut it out to access a small compartment containing screws and a user manual with your activation code written on it. You will be asked for this code by the application when registering your Master Smart Lock.

Personally, I did not attach the chest to a wall. The rules in my condominium do not allow me to install it on my landing. Its installation is however very simple since you only have to pierce your wall and screw the trunk in it.

The chest measures 12.7 cm in height, 8.3 cm wide and 5.9 cm deep. The product is therefore not very large. Suddenly, the capacity of the trunk is not exceptional. You will not be able to put a large bunch of keys on it. You can have two or three keys there; whatever is sufficient if the objective is to allow access to your apartment or house.

Master Smart Lock review – The app

The Master Lock Vault application is very well done and very complete. After downloading it from the Play Store or the App Store, all you need to do is create an account and save your Master Lock smart health connected key vault. The application will then offer you to calibrate your safe in order to refine the signal between it and your phone.

You can then check the last known location, change the main code, add secondary codes, add guests, view access history, etc. Honestly, everything is really very intuitive. The Master Lock Bluetooth N ° 5441EURD Select Access Smart is a good unpretentious product. It does what it was intended to do. Without offering a very worked design, its appearance is rather pleasant. For me, the real added value of the product does come from its application and its many features. If I could give two improvement tips for the product: the first would be about design. The brand should work a little more on the aesthetics of its products. Finally, another point of improvement: the name of the product. Master Lock could have made an effort and come up with a slightly sexier name for it.
