Ringly is an NFC payment ring that will allow you to pay from anywhere without contact. MasterCard recently unveiled its NFC technology designed to be integrated into just about everything: clothes, jewelry, etc.

Ringly is therefore one of the devices that stems from this technology. MasterCard also works with designer Adam Selman. The latter has created many products for Rhianna, has created a range of NFC clothing; including a dress, a bag, earrings and even sunglasses. MasterCard also introduced Nymi. This technology authenticates the user with the unique signature of their heart rate.

But back to Ringly. MasterCard worked with NXP and Qualcomm to develop its payment system. Ringly CEO and Founder Christina Mercando of Avignon Welcomes Partnership with MasterCard: "Thanks to our partnership with MasterCard, Ringly will not only be able to keep people smart health connected, but will offer our customers another way to use their jewelry when traveling. Our mission is to make women's lives more pleasant through beautiful jewelry. "

The idea of MasterCard is not new; we remember Barclaycard praising its BPAY technology and which recently collaborated with Lyle & Scott to create NFC clothing. However, MasterCard does this globally. So it's a safe bet that we’ll see MasterCard technology integrated into devices next year.
