Max G30 – Segway prepares a scooter for long journeys

The Max G30 will be THE scooter of the end of the year, that's what I'm going to talk to you about today. As you know, you can associate the name Segway with these self-balancing electric platforms that have never captured the imagination of the buying public; but who continue to patrol malls and transport visitors to eco-parks.

Now owned by the Chinese robotics company Ninebot, Segway has since expanded its catalog to include personal movement unicycles, scooters and even go-karts. Segway-Ninebot has just announced the launch of the Max G30 electric scooter. The launch will take place during the biggest technology fair in Europe. According to initial reports, it would have the longest battery life in its class.

The Max G30 electric scooter has a 551 Wh battery. This gives it a charge range of 65 km. The scooter also has an integrated AC charging adapter for quick charging; and therefore allows you to ride more. Its 350 W rear hub motor offers a top speed of 25 km / h and the ability to cross slopes of 20 degrees.

There is also a drum brake at the front and electronic braking at the rear; which can also help to reduce the range a little during slowdowns. The rear light is used as a brake light. The electric scooter is mounted on 10-inch pneumatic tubeless tires that help absorb bumps on the road. There is also a newly developed protective coating which would reduce the risk of punctures.

Segway-Ninebot hasn't revealed a price to date, but visitors to IFA 2019 in Berlin, Germany, starting on September 6, will be able to find out a little more ready and maybe find out more .
