Officialized at CES 2015, the helmet of the French start-up MyBrain was finally presented to us during WTS 2015 by Yohan Attal, its founder and CEO. If today many smart health connected objects are still around the gadget, the Melomind helmet is the next generation of these smart devices, capable of bringing real learning to their owner.

Work your relaxation

Who is Melomind? It is a "smart health connected" electroencephalograph which takes the form of a helmet and which, in conjunction with a smartphone, provides a relaxation solution for the wearer. Everything is based on the principle of neurofeedback, a method allowing the patient to better control his brain activity. In Melomind's case, the device measures a constant and responds with music streamed from the smartphone (iOS / Android). The sessions with the helmet are spread over durations of 3 to 15 minutes, and must allow the brain to correct a disorder itself (stress, attention deficit …), without the need for a helmet. You should also know that neither the Bluetooth connection with the phone, nor the EEG itself is dangerous for health. The device is entirely passive, it only picks up electrical signals from the brain, then analyzes them and provides a response.
