The young company from Nantes Meyko launches its little smart health connected character, whose mission is to accompany children suffering from chronic diseases in their treatment.

In the large family of objects smart health connected to health, we would like the youngest … Meyko! French creation, this little rotund man wants to make friends with children suffering from chronic diseases (asthma, for example), those who assume redundant medication. With Meyko, this exercise to which the youngest often have difficulty to join can gain in serenity, but especially in regularity. According to the creators of Meyko, the overall compliance by children of their treatment for chronic illness in France would be only 50% …

This little character connects to the sector and is set using an application. Put on a night table, it can also act as a night light. The idea is to invite the child to take his (or her) medicine (s) at a fixed time by installing a small and sympathetic ritual between him and his smart health connected companion. Meyko grimaces when the time comes for the child to take his medication. The child runs and validates his catch using an identification tag on his box (or an inhaler, for example). A little hug with Meyko is not too much for comfort. From then on, this one smiles and sends to dad or mom a notification assuring him that his toddler has been well looked after. "Taking care of his little companion, the child takes care of himself at the same time"explains Meyko.

The little guy (not foam) was launched thanks to a crowdfunding campaign inaugurated just a year ago. It is now sold on the site from its manufacturer at a price of 129 € (119 € until 31 October). Meyko comes with two tags. A set of four additional tags will cost you 9,90 €.
