Mi Bunny Watch 3 – Xiaomi protects children with 4G and GPS

Xiaomi has announced a new smartwatch for children: the Mi Bunny Watch 3. Let’s discover its features together!

The Mi Bunny Watch 3 aims to keep the wearer safe thanks to its 4G connectivity and GPS tracking. The Chinese company has revealed that the Mi Bunny Watch 3, which follows on from the Mi Bunny Phone Watch 2C, will have a 1.41-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 360 pixels. This device is inserted into a 140-220 mm rubber strap in pink or blue color, for a total weight of approximately 50 grams.

You will understand, this is a smartwatch for children. Wi-Fi network and 4G network support allow children to make phone calls from their wrist; while the wearable also has a GPS / A-GPS.

A 2 megapixel camera is also included. This apparently helps identify plants and teach children about nature; once smart health connected to the corresponding smartphone application. Naturally, children can also capture non-plant photos or HD videos, while accumulating activity data.

Xiaomi did not specifically explain what activities would be tracked. But we imagine that there won’t be a lot of innovation on that side. Xiaomi has also provided an alarm, puzzles and games. Depending on the brand, the battery life on a single charge is 30 hours.

As is always the case when it comes to Xiaomi and wearables, price is also an important factor to consider here. Smartwatches for kids are generally not as expensive as their adult counterparts. The Mi Bunny Watch 3 is currently on sale in China for 599 yuan, which equates to around $ 90.

However, unfortunately, we do not yet have information on international marketing. But it’s a safe bet that this little smartwatch for children will arrive in Europe within a few months.
