Microsoft Band 2 will be able to correct this problem with a new GPS power saving mode. You can extend battery life by up to four hours, according to Microsoft. In fact, instead of tracking your GPS position continuously, this new mode will only position you at regular intervals. This energy saving mode is ideal for activities such as running and cycling. Obviously, the Microsoft Health application will always be able to give you information about your sports activity; whether on mobile or internet browser.

Speaking of the Microsoft Health app, it will also benefit from a new feature. She will offer a tool to track your weight. You will be able to keep an eye on your weight loss or gain and obtain approximate information on your Body Mass Index. After entering your starting weight on the app, you will be able to view your progress for one month, three months or since the start of monitoring.

The update for the Microsoft Band 2 and for the health application are already available.
