Misfit Beddit Sleep: to track your sleep

Misfit has just announced a partnership with Beddit, a sleep tracking sensor. Coupled with the Shine, it allows you to have quality monitoring of your physical activity and your rest.

Misfit is trying to find a place in the world of smart health connected objects. The Shine, its very stylish activity sensor, is already successful and allows you to track your activity as well as your sleep. Only, the monitoring of nights is quite limited. To remedy, a partnership with Beddit, which manufactures a sensor to place on the mattress that analyzes your sleep according to your movements and your breathing, has been set up.

Strategically, such a partnership makes sense. Two brands are joining forces. Beddit takes advantage of the distribution of Misfit and it has access to a sleep sensor much more efficient than the Shine.

The data tracked by Beddit are the duration and quality of sleep, the time it takes to fall asleep, sleep cycles, breathing and … snoring! A smart alarm also allows you to wake up at the right time, like that of the Jawbone UP24. Only downside, and we are used to it with Misfit, only iOS users will have an application, the Beddit Sleep can therefore not be used by Android users.

Misfit is a direct competitor of Withings and the Aura + Pulse 02 couple.
