Misfit Shine 2: finer, smarter

[ad_1]

After announcing the low cost sensor Link, the US expands its range with the Misfit Shine 2. Thinner, wider and smarter, it wants to compete with the giants of the sector.

The two forces of the first Shine were its design and its autonomy. The Shine 2 continues the tradition with an autonomy of 6 months (thanks to a button battery) and its design slightly thinner and wider than the first model. His two new colors (black and rose gold), are also a success.

In the radius of news, we note the presence of a LED of 12 colors which enriches the information that can give sensor. It makes it possible to follow its progress, but also to receive notifications during a call or an SMS for example. According to the company (we are waiting to Review it to prove it), the arrival of a magnetometer will improve the accuracy of activity monitoring and sleep. Shine 2 is waterproof up to 50 meters and allows you to follow his swimming sessions (like Speedo Shine).

Bluetooth 4.1 will enhance connectivity with the smartphone, and the built-in vibrator will wake you up at the right time in the morning, or notify you in case of inactivity. Shine 2 can also take advantage of the Link application and become a control button for your environment, whether to activate the camera of your smartphone or turn off the lights for example.

The Misfit Shine 2 will be available from November 1st on the official website for $ 99.99, delivered with a bracelet and a clip to wear it as you wish. It is, of course, compatible with iOS and Android. You can also find our complete listing on Misfit Shine 2 here.
