"Scans via magnetic resonance imaging systems (MRI) are way too expensive and cumbersome for regular use ", adds Michael Cima. " We wanted to develop a new system that could bypass conventional analysis via MRI ".

Still at the experimental stage, this innovation could, in the long term, also support many other research sectors, such as those relating to environmental studies.
