Moov HR Sweat and HR Burn
Moov has just launched a new range of smart health connected objects dedicated to athletes. The first of these devices: the Moov HR Burn. This chest strap would be the most accurate heart rate monitoring in the world. The second: the Moov HR Sweat.
Moov also unveiled the Moov HR Sweat, a small circular sensor inside wrapped in a small silicone case and slipped into a headband. It has an optical sensor that uses the same light-based technology that we've already seen used in the Apple Watch and the Fitbit Charge 2. The big difference here is that this device is not worn around the arms but around the head.
The company says it’s more relevant to measure your upper heart rate. The measurements would be more precise. Apparently, by positioning the sensor on the temples, on the side of the head where the skin is thinnest, the movement of the sensor is reduced and the blood flow is greater.
HR Moov-based workouts are High Intensity Interval (HIIT) workouts to stimulate target heart rate zones. It works in particular for running and indoor cycling. Heart rate data can be combined with Moov Now. Other sports are then supported.

As for the battery life, it is six hours in use and one week on standby. It's largely enough. The data collected can be viewed in the brand's smartphone application; little news: third-party applications are now supported.
If you want to order the Moov HR Burn chest strap, count around 59 euros. The Moov HR Sweat headband and probe are more expensive. Count around 75 euros. These products are available on the brand website.
