The MSD laboratory enriches its digital offer with the launch of a new mobile application for patients with hepatitis C: C’Partner. Discovery.

The access of all patients to innovative treatments for chronic hepatitis C has revolutionized the management of the disease in France. To contribute to the elimination of the disease, the MSD France laboratory offers, in addition to its innovative treatments, a new solution contributing to therapeutic compliance: C'Partner.

“The new treatments represent a major advance for patients who, within a few weeks, see a dramatic improvement in their health. However, the challenges today are to promote access to treatment and ensure therapeutic adherence to promote healing. " underlines Professor Vincent Leroy, Head of Hepato-gastroenterology at the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital.

With the device C'Partner, a mobile application associated with an associated website, the laboratory’s objective is to optimize the care pathway for patients with hepatitis and promote therapeutic adherence. It allows users to access practical hepatitis C fact sheets and to geolocate the nearest free testing centers.

These two digital devices offer patients monitoring tools for their treatment: reminders, health status monitoring, exams and appointments. The objective is to maximize the therapeutic benefit of the treatments, promote compliance and minimize the risks of re-contamination.

"After having contributed to universal access to treatment from January 2017, we want to best support patients in optimizing their care" said Dorothée Furon, Hospital Director at MSD France. "C’Partner is a new demonstration of MSD France's continued commitment to eliminating the disease in France by 2025."
