MWC 2016: HTC gives a date for the arrival of the UA HealthBox in Europe

Proud of its partnership with Under Armor, HTC confirmed to us yesterday that HealthBox would arrive well in Europe. Athletes will be happy to learn that it won't take too long before they can equip themselves.

Last year, HTC announced that it wanted to seriously launch itself in the field of smart health connected objects, while admitting not without modesty not to have the necessary know-how in the matter to achieve it alone. The Taiwanese brand has therefore teamed up with Under Armor, the American fitness specialist, to release a smart health connected bracelet, the UA Band, which unfortunately has never left the United States. It was only at CES last January that we learned not only that this smart health bracelet would be part of a bigger pack, the UA HealthBox, but also that it would be marketed in France through this bundle.

All that remained was to know the date of marketing of this pack, and here it is known. Not exactly, of course, but athletes who appreciate these gadgets will be happy to learn that Under Armor and HTC HealthBox will be available worldwide from the second quarter of this year.

As a reminder, the HealthBox contains the UA Band bracelet, the UA Scale and the cardiac sensor to be placed on his chest during exercise for more precise measurements. All the interest is nevertheless in its application, capable of aggregating the information of all these devices, but also of recording the calories ingested during the day. The application then takes care of giving the advice best suited to each morphology to take care of your body.

The price of this pack is set at $ 400. Its price in euros, however, is not yet known.
