As part of the LeWeb conference held in Paris in December 2013, the jury awarded the Polish start-up Intelclinic and NeuroOn, its smart health connected sleep mask. Still in prototype state during the inter-startup forum competition, the object should be available this spring for the general public at a price of $ 230. NeuroOn, or change your sleep rhythm

To come now to the technical specifics, NeuroOn is a mask equipped with sensors which makes it possible to measure the sleep state of the wearer (deep, light) via the movement of the eyes, the tension of the muscles and the brain activity. With an autonomy of 10 hours and a connection in Bluetooth 4.0 with a Smartphone and a dedicated mobile application (iOS or Android), it is possible toanalyze your sleep phases to optimize your rhythm, of a mono-phasic diet at a poly-phasic rhythm. Founded by a Polish medical student, Intelclinic's NeuroOn is a mask that rides the polyphase sleep trend, which has been shown to be optimal in many clinical studies. In other words, it is better to have several phases of sleep in a day rather than to sleep all at once.

Whether users will be ready remains to be seen to shorten their night and completely change their lifestyle to adapt to the requirements dictated by the mobile application. The latter automatically triggers a signal at the optimal time to wake the individual, or informs him of the appropriate moment for a nap in the middle of the day.

With this new sleep sensor, Intelclinic significantly differs from alternative methods for optimizing rest, such as Withings' Aura or the Jawbone UP, a smart health connected activity sensor bracelet.
