new athletic look for the smart health connected watch
[ad_1]
After a succession of leaks, Huawei has just announced the release of its latest smart health connected watch, the very sporty Watch GT2e.
In fact, it is a direct result of the GT 2 released last September. But beyond its new look, is this edition really worth the cost? Find out the answer in the following lines.
The Huawei Watch GT2e smartwatch compared to the GT 2
The GT2e presents itself in a steel finish. Its design has benefited from a few modifications that highlight its sporty character, Huawei most certainly wanting a share of the smart health connected fitness market.
Like its predecessor, the new smartwatch has two buttons positioned at 2 and 4 o'clock relative to the dial. For their part, the shapes of the horns better match the contours of the straps.
Like the GT 2, the Huawei Watch GT2e has a SpO2 sensor to measure the oxygenation rate of the blood. This device will notably improve sleep monitoring and position the model as a fierce competitor in the fitness watch segment.
A smartwatch for the most athletic
The fitness side of the Huawei Watch GT2e is confirmed by the features offered by its software. Thus, the watch offers no less than 100 modes dedicated to activities data (running, swimming, etc.). A GPS and a heart rate monitoring seal its status as a sports watch.
For the rest of the data sheet, Huawei incorporates many of the characteristics of the GT 2 on the Watch GT2e. So, we find the1.39 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. Those who like to listen to music while exercising will be able to count on the internal storage of 4 GB (about 500 songs).
In Bluetooth mode, the autonomy will be 24 hours. However, using the GPS permanently will give 30 hours of use. But the 455mAh battery can work up to 15 days on a single charge.
In fact, the Huawei Watch GT2e is just a small update to the GT 2. So if you already own the GT 2, don't buy the newcomer. However, for 199 euros, it’s an interesting smartwatch if you like to play sports. Unfortunately, no release date has been announced.
